Modern cable glands

with the unique PFLITSCH sealing principle

The main focus of cable glands is on edge protection, reliable sealing and strain relief of conducted cables. This is why PFLITSCH has given top priority here to: Both series UNI Dicht (Fig. 2+3) und blueglobe (Fig. 1) made of metal and high-grade plastic work with a large-surface, spherical sealing. The high-grade sealing insert nestles axially and radially up against the cable, ensuring "soft pinching" and preventing damage to the cable. Irreparable constrictions are therefore foiled, a longer service life ensured and maximum safety guaranteed. This has been verified in various vibration tests. These cable glands attain the high protection classes IP 68 and IP 69k.

With MatchClamp (Fig. 4), PFLITSCH has a non-detachable cable entry in the range for the first time, which pinches cables gently and with which cables can be led into, for example, plugs or housings, simply, space-savingly and non-detachably. These water and gas-proof units attain, as standard, IP 68 and up to 10-times strain relief.

For international application, PFLITSCH standard products have, amongst others, VDE, UL, CSA and Gost approval. The European EMV and ATEX standards are also reliably met (Fig. 5).
