The Automobile trunking –
for increased mechanical requirements
The PFLITSCH Automobile Trunking (Fig. 1-4) is the heavy-duty version of the time-tested Industrial trunking. It conforms to the factory standards of numerous automotive manufacturers and meets the high requirements made by this branch. It is predominantly used in the production and assembly centres as a walkable floor duct and will take loads of up to 1,200 N without any problems (Fig. 2). This PFLITSCH trunking system is also to be found in areas where increased static capacity and particularly large intervals between supports are required.
This stability is attained by greater sheet thicknesses between 2 mm and 2.5 mm. PFLITSCH offers the trunking as standard 100 mm high, so that it will not exceed a step depth/shoulder height of 200 mm with floor assembly including support feet 90 mm high (Fig. 3). Widths from 100 mm to 600 mm are available. With separating webs (Fig. 4) in the trunking, power, data and control cables can be routed in separate chambers in line with rules and regulations and EMC-compatible. Corrugated metal sheets ensure greater anti-slip resistance for the walkable trunking.
An on-line CAD system supports the user in the configuration of his individual trunking. Machines and tools (Fig. 5) make for optimum and rational assembly. Practical fastening technology enables swift and safe installation on the spot.
