GFK trunking systems –
corrosion-resistant - light - reliable
With a cable routing system made of high-grade glass-fibre-reinforced plastic, PFLITSCH offers a sophisticated solution for reliable cable routing, for example, outdoors, in power plant engineering, the chemical industry or water/waster water technology. Produced from the time-tested industrial material GFK, this system is lighter and more economically priced than steel and stainless-steel trunking, is, however, extremely weathering, corrosion and UV-resistant as well as resistant even to aggressive environmental conditions.
With only 0.15 % water absorption in 24 h, the material and production process used guarantee a value three times greater than any comparison with conventional GFK systems. The operating temperature range lies between an astounding -140°C and + 120°C, which facilitates application in Siberia as well as in the Sahara. With 40 % to 55 %, the glass-fibre proportion is also clearly higher than the standard, whereby GFK ducts are extremely sturdy.
As good-value alternative to steel and stainless-steel trunking, PFLITSCH offers the closed GFK trunking 60 mm high and in 4 widths between 100 mm and 300 mm. The 3 m long trunking pieces can be cut to length easily and combined with shaped components to form individual routings. The trunking body is closed with clip-on covers (Fig. 1), which additionally brace the trunking. The trunking base is optionally closed or provided with slotted holes, installation thus being simplified to angle brackets, supports, wall consoles or covers (Figs. 3+4). Inside connectors, end caps and separating webs round off the range as well as comprehensive fastening technology products.
What is more, with the range of cable ladders conductors (Figs. 5-8) , PFLITSCH offers an open system for easy and yet rugged routing, in which, for example, large support intervals are required. The cable conductors comprise six-metre long, deflection-resistant side beams – 100 mm and 130 mm high – as well as stable webs in nine lengths from 150 mm right up to 1,000 mm. Depending on the customer’s requirements, the load variants light, medium and heavy-duty as well as special widths are possible. With insertable sheets, the user can realise plane routing simply. Practical shaped parts such as reducers, 45° and 90° elbows, T pieces or crossings enable individual routings to be designed and realised. To this end, the side beams and shaped parts are securely connected with connectors and hinges.
