Carsten Wohlrath joins the Board of ZVEI North Rhine-Westphalia

At this year's General Assembly meeting, Carsten Wohlrath, General Manager of PFLITSCH, was elected to the Board of the ZVEI North Rhine-Westphalia Regional Office.

The new Chairman is Oliver Hoffmeister. Others elected to the Board were: Till Fastabend, Rüdiger Gilbert, Kai-Uwe Pirweck, Manfred Tillmann, Christof Barklage, Peter Köhler, Ulrich Leidecker and Volker Neu. The Board sees the issues of energy efficiency and energy policy change as its main areas of concern. “I look forward to working together well with the other board members. With respect to our main areas of concern, there is much to do in our region, but I am confident that we will make good use of the next two years to successfully progress these issues,” says Carsten Wohlrath.

ZVEI – Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e. V. – represents the interests of the German electrical and electronics industry at the national and international level. The association provides specific information about economic, technical and regulatory framework conditions as well as innovations in the industry. ZVEI promotes further developments in the fields of research, education and environmental protection and seeks to encourage the exchange of experience and knowledge between experts and members of the association.
