Responsibility for man and region

PFLITSCH is at home in the Oberbergisch Land – not far from Cologne. This region has already spawned a host of bright people, such as Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, the 1st Nobel prize winner in physics. The PFLITSCH family, too, has developed quite a few pioneering products, patents and concepts, today ranking amongst the standards. Despite the international orientation, PFLITSCH remains, however, closely linked to the Bergisch Land, campaigning for the development of the region and making for a fresh breeze in co-operating with politics, Chambers of Industry and Commerce and industry.

This starts in the company itself: Happy staff make for satisfied customers. Which is why great care is taken to ensure not only for a pleasant work climate, but also to help reconcile family and job. As an outstanding “family-friendly company” there are flexible work schedule models, an in-house child care facility and the possibility of telework. Fitness training, advanced training courses and a health and pension scheme are included in this PFLITSCH programme.

All this ensures that the employees not only work well for PFLITSCH, but also like working for PFLITSCH. This is essential! For both customers as well as partners profit from a good corporate culture.

This social responsibility is also perceived in the region: For example, realisation of the “Vocational College of the Bergisch economy”. The objective is to offer young people the opportunity to pass a so-called “Vollabitur” (“full school-leaving certificate “or “full A-levels”) plus vocational training approved by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) as a general business administrator within three years. This also brings benefit to companies in the region, since the junior staff are introduced to professional practice earlier than usual, thus enabling these qualified workers to go ahead.
