PFLITSCH
A success story with more than 90 years experience……
2010
2009
For the 90th anniversary of the company, PFLITSCH presented themselves as a modern enterprise that acts on the international markets successfully with the slogan “Competence in cable management”. As a system developer, the company realises special solutions for customers and branches such as adapters for plug-in connectors or hygienic glands.
2008
With MatchClamp™ PFLITSCH distributes and produces a sabotage-safe cable entry point – compact and with very high strain relief. With the CAD planning tool easyRoute, PFLITSCH established themselves definitively as a service provider, planning, producing and supplying, on request, ready-to-install components comprising cable ducts, cable glands and other parts.
2005
Launching the innovative cable gland blueglobe® enabled PFLITSCH to set new standards in terms of function and identification. With greater clamping ranges, higher imperviousness and better strain relief, this cable gland is leading the way world-wide.
2004
Ute Pflitsch-Stendtke died suddenly. A management team supported Harald Pflitsch as sole managing partner.
2002
Otto Pflitsch died after a long illness. His daughter Ute Pflitsch-Stendtke and Harald Pflitsch took over management.

The service business all about trunking flourished: Under the motto "From the idea right up to assembly“, combining the idea, the product and the service involved, individual cable trunking is assembled and customised. Tools and machine tools made handling sheet thicknesses from 0.8 mm to1.6 mm even easier.
1996
1992
PFLITSCH combined the industrial trunking with lamps and electro-components for the "media trunking“ for building services and traffic engineering.
1990
PFLITSCH supplemented the time-tested industrial trunking for large cable volumes with the new product range of the compact “Mini trunkings” (PIK = PFLITSCH Installations-Kanal = PFLITSCH installation trunking) for cable protection of electronic lines and data cables.
1986
With EMC cable glands, PFLITSCH set standards in the modern environment of electromagnetic compatibility and for attaining high quality requirements.
1980
PFLITSCH started importing cable trunkings from an English manufacturer with 270 parts made of galvanised steel sheet in 3 cross-sections.
1978
Otto Pflitsch had the PFLITSCH hexagonal with the characteristic 12 grooves on the edge registered as a design mark. The hexagonal, the colour blue and the slogan "Competence in Cable Management“ stand for PFLITSCH and their products to this day.
1974
The UNI insert seals in white – a visible contrast to conventional black seals with all the competition – were dyed in accordance with a colour code appropriate to the standardised diameters.
1967
New hose clamp glands and angle glands extended the product range. In the following years, types made of the high-grade plastic Trogamid were added to them.
1966
1965
Searching for innovative, cost-effective solutions, Otto Pflitsch and his young nephew Harald created the well-known cable gland system UNI Dicht® made of brass with its new-type, undetachable PVC seals.
1964/65
Hans-Georg Pflitsch died unexpectedly a year before his father Ernst Pflitsch as the outcome of a valvular heart defect. The company was called
Gebr. Pflitsch GmbH E. Pflitsch & Co. KG with Otto Pflitsch as the Managing Director.1951/52
Otto Pflitsch set the course for the new product segment cable glands, which were soon sold in Sweden and the Netherlands as well. The revolutionary cable gland "Opeco“ quickly turned into a success. By 1956, further metal hose glands had been developed such as the hose connection “Capri-tube” and the “SVD-hose gland Dicht”.
1947
Ernst Pflitsch`s youngest son, Otto, joined the company. Under his stewardship, the sales network was built up in Germany.
1938
PFLITSCH took over the buildings of the former Bockhacker cloth factory in Hückeswagen, located directly on the River Wupper and close to the railway line. The son Hans-Georg gained initial experience in different companies and in his father’s enterprise.
1933
Switchboard bolts, metal parts for contact screws, metal parts for switches and sockets ranked amongst those products most in demand. PFLITSCH sold their products to Eastern Europe, Turkey and Palestine through a representative in Vienna.
From the symbols for direct current (straight line), alternating current (wavy line) and the two letters P and F, Ernst Pflitsch developed the company logo that has adorned PFLITSCH products since then.
