CABseal clean – the splittable cable entry and transit designed specifically for hygienic environments
Better hygiene. Less complexity.
In spray zones and product-free hygiene areas, every detail counts: open joints, edges and areas that are difficult to clean encourage contamination and complicate cleaning processes. To ensure that cable entries and transits do not pose a hygiene risk in this environment, CABseal clean provides you with a splittable cable entry and transit designed specifically to meet this requirement. It combines easy cleanability, thanks to a hygienic design based on EHEDG guidelines, with the flexibility of the CABseal system. This gives you exactly the level of hygiene performance required in spray zones and product-free areas, without the complexity of fully hygienic systems.
CABseal clean has been developed for packaging machine manufacturers, machinery and equipment engineers with a focus on hygiene, and operators of production facilities in the food and beverage industry. The frame and cable glands are made from FDA-compliant materials and are resistant to standard cleaning agents. The material resistance has been confirmed by Ecolab. This ensures that your cable entries and transits remain reliably sealed and operational even after repeated cleaning. No additional covers or other system components are required.
CABseal clean safely routes pre-assembled cables and wires into distribution cabinets and machine housings – for example, in packaging, filling and conveyor systems in the food and beverage industry.

Three versions – tailored precisely to your hygiene requirements
You decide how much hygienic design your application requires. CABseal clean is available in three coordinated versions: as a frame with standard stainless steel screws, as a version with hygienic screws, and as a complete solution with hygienic screws and a fixing kit. The hygienic screw variants are made from 1.4404 stainless steel. This allows you to choose exactly the solution that suits your hygiene concept, without compromising on tightness or ease of installation.
Four frame sizes, maximum flexibility in configuration
CABseal clean is available in four splittable frame sizes – for breakout sizes ranging from 46 x 36–54 mm to 112 x 36–54 mm. Each frame can be fitted with a choice of 4, 6, 8 or 10 cable grommets and features an integrated rear frame seal. This eliminates the need for an additional seal. The cable grommets are made from FDA-compliant TPE and reliably seal cable diameters from 3 to 16 mm. Their form-fitting design also ensures reliable strain relief.
You can simply seal any unused grommet slots with matching blind plugs, also made from FDA-compliant polyamide. The system is dust-tight and protected against water jets in accordance with IP 65/66, and has temperature resistance from -40 °C to +100 °C. The result is a system for cable entries and transits that grows with your application rather than restricting it.
Quick and easy assembly – no special tools required
The splittable frame and the side-slotted, flexible cable grommets make installation incredibly simple: insert the cables, close the frame, and you’re done. This saves you time during initial installation and whenever you need to carry out an expansion or maintenance, as CABseal clean can be opened at any time and resealed with a new cable configuration without having to replace the entire set of cable entries and transits. This really pays off, particularly in retrofit projects in hygiene-critical environments: you can upgrade existing systems to CABseal clean with minimal effort and short downtimes.
