Corrugated conduits have a high mechanical load-bearing capacity, for example, as regards pressure resistance and tread resistance, as well as excellent weather resistance. In contrast, hoses – depending on the design – are ideal for applications requiring a high level of flexibility, fatigue and flexural fatigue strength or chemical resistance.
