Anuga FoodTec, the leading international trade fair for the food and beverage industry, opens its doors in Cologne from 19 – 22 March 2024. It covers all aspects of food production – from process technology to filling and packaging technology, from packaging materials and ingredients to food safety. For PFLITSCH, it is a permanent fixture in the trade fair calendar – firstly because we are one of the experts and drivers of innovation in the field of hygiene solutions for the food industry and secondly because we maintain an intensive professional dialogue with users here.
Simply unique – the new Cleanplus
This year, our participation in Anuga FoodTec has a special significance. Under the motto "PFLITSCH – cable management solutions for the highest hygiene requirements" we will be presenting a unique highlight alongside our highly developed system of hygiene-compliant solutions: the new Cleanplus. It is the first hygienic design cable gland on the market to have EHEDG certification in accordance with the new, more stringent requirements.
Tightened EHEDG guidelines confidently fulfilled
As automation in the food industry has progressed, the standards for safe hygienic production have become stricter. To take account of this development, the requirements of the EHEDG, the European Hygiene and Engineering Group, for hygienic design have also been tightened. Hygienic design plays a key role in the hygienic design of production facilities and defines the materials and hygienic design of the production equipment used in the food industry in order to prevent contamination of products.
The best made even better
The Cleanplus is based on the proven construction principle and the if award-winning design of the blueglobe CLEAN Plus, which was previously the first hygienic cable gland certified in accordance with the previous EHDGE guidelines. For the new Cleanplus, we have further developed its hygienic properties, universal characteristics and ease of installation. Thanks to a wider range of variants, the Cleanplus offers a greater performance spectrum and thus ensures more precise fulfilment of customer requirements. In addition to the tried-and-tested properties of the blueglobe CLEAN Plus, it scores points with additional product benefits such as a wider temperature application range, adapted spanner flats for EHEDG-compliant installation and improved ease of installation, which helps to save more time and money.
Extra portion of safety
A top solution like the Cleanplus naturally deserves maximum attention. And so we have started an accompanying advertising campaign for its market launch with the slogan "Treat yourself to an extra portion - now also in terms of safety".
