The fact that PFLITSCH products meet the highest safety standards is underlined by the new certification and approval of products for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Thus, we have received the official confirmation of the UL-listed certificate for the LevelEx cable gland for the introduction of cables in Ex-d and Ex-e areas. The Underwriters Laboratories are one of the world's best-known independent certification organisations for product safety. The UL seal is particularly important in the US market, where product liability laws are even stricter than in Europe. In contrast to the UL Recognized certificate, which is awarded for components within a product, the UL Listed certificate applies to complete products. For this purpose, the product in question is subjected to considerably more tests. In addition to the UL certificate, LevelEx can present other important certificates: VDE, Ex, IECEx, CE, RoHS, DNV, CCC and KCs.
Furthermore, we were also able to obtain the official Chinese CCC approval for all ATEX/IECEx-approved products. The 13 certificates are each available in an English and a Chinese language version for download on our website. At the same time, we are expecting a revision of the standards in May, which will allow us to update the corresponding certificates for the multiple solutions sector. Unfortunately, due to the application of the current standards in China, these products cannot be approved at present.
