First half of the 2024 trade fair season in summary

Three trade fairs are now behind us and - following the presentation of our new Cleanplus hygienic cable gland at Anuga FoodTec in Cologne - there was another milestone in this year's trade fair calendar.

HANNOVER TRADE FAIR 2024

More than 130,000 visitors from 150 countries, 4,000 exhibiting companies and 300 start-ups from all over the world once again documented HANNOVER MESSE's claim to leadership from 31 March to 4 April 2024. Under the motto "easy and safe installation for automation", we were able to present our top solutions to a large trade audience. The EMC solutions blueglobe TRI and the new UNI Dicht TRI, which meet the increasing requirements for EMC safety, took centre stage. We also had two other attractions up our sleeve: the new Cleanplus hygienic design cable gland and the CABseal cable entry system, which can be divided and flexibly fitted. The PFLITSCH trade fair team was more than satisfied with its appearance at the HMI thanks to countless qualified technical discussions, newly established contacts and the inspiring impressions gained from the presentations of potential customers and the competition.

PRC Congress in Amsterdam

The Petrochemical and Refining Congress, which took place in Amsterdam from 13-15 May 2024, is the B2B networking platform for the downstream oil and gas industry par excellence. More than 400 high-ranking decision-makers from over 200 major international companies were represented. This time, the focus was on the challenges facing the industry as a result of defossilisation and decarbonisation from a business and technological perspective. For us, the PRC Congress was an opportunity to become even more involved in the market for explosion protection solutions, as the oil and gas industry offers great potential for our solutions. We were able to successfully network with leading companies in the industry during the many informative discussions.

Outlook for the future: SPS Italia

Last year, we were able to celebrate our premiere at Smart Production Solutions in Parma and at the same time introduce our new sales team for Italy. When we present our new products and product innovations at SPS this year from 28 - 30 May, Simona Pozzi and Jorge Rivas will of course be there again to contribute their experience in a targeted manner. Our Technical Sales Manager Italy, Massimiliano Iorio, is now also a new member of the team. Like Simona Pozzi, he is based in Italy and can therefore advise our Italian customers directly on site.
SPS Parma is the top event for the automation industry and robotics in Italy and an absolute must for us - for several reasons. For example, the region is home to numerous PFLITSCH customers and, as a manufacturer of effective EMC solutions, we reach exactly our core target group at SPS. In addition, we naturally also benefit from the support of our own local sales team as part of our participation. In addition, last year's SPS Parma was extremely successful for us, so we are looking forward to numerous promising discussions again this year.

THE BATTERY SHOW EUROPE

We are looking forward to our next trade fair premiere, the BATTERY SHOW. Europe's leading trade fair - and congress - for advanced battery manufacturing and technology will take place from 18 - 24 June in Stuttgart. Over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries will present the latest technologies for the production of state-of-the-art batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles on 190,000 square metres. This context provides the ideal stage to showcase our highly developed solutions for the high-voltage on-board electrical system of hybrid and electric commercial vehicles, which also includes batteries. Participation in the trade fair is also relevant for us because the industry-specific trade fair market is only just forming and, as a driver of innovation in the growing future industry of e-mobility, we want to provide impetus right from the start.
