Smart Production Solutions – SPS for short – is the key trade fair for the automation and robotics industry, held every year in Nuremberg, Germany. The entire bandwidth of digital automation – from simple sensors to complete smart production systems – is exhibited here, both the status quo of what’s feasible today and the possibilities of a fully digitalised industry in a more or less near future.
In this respect, it goes without saying that the SPS is a top priority among PFLITSCH’s trade fair activities. All the more so this year as two product highlights were presented to industry fair-goers, the trade press and the company’s own sales partners under the banner “easy installation for automation”. Following the star of the show, the CABseal – a splittable cable entry –, the spotlight was trained on the LevelEx AC, an explosion-proof cable gland for armoured cables. With both solutions, PFLITSCH is expanding its individual product ranges to create a complete overall portfolio – with the LevelEx AC being a prime example of this in the LevelEx range.
The kick-off event was targeted specifically at the company’s sales partners to parade the CABseal. Thanks to the exciting way in which it was showcased, this product highlight attracted the undivided attention of everyone present. But that’s not all. The new cable entry generated genuine enthusiasm thanks to its outstanding features and customer benefits. The opportunity to hold the product in their own hands and to actually install it certainly contributed to the buzz. It allowed the sales partners to gain a first-hand impression of how amazingly easy the product is to install.
The PFLITSCH booth party then set the stage for the CABseal’s next appearance. A professional cover band responsible for providing the perfect soundtrack, a football table that awakened the sporting spirit among the guests and drinks fit for the occasion ensured everyone was in the right party mood. With these tone-setters in place, it wasn’t difficult for PFLITSCH’s trade fair team to conduct numerous in-depth sales talks with customers and to generate a large number of promising contacts. The response triggered by the CABseal hasn’t gone unnoticed, even among our competitors. At the same time, the LevelEx AC also met with keen interest from experts for whom explosion protection plays an essential role in cable management. And so, looking back, we can rightly say that PFLITSCH’s presence at SPS 2022 was a complete all-round success.
