The 2024 trade fair year began for PFLTISCH with participation in two trade fairs that could hardly be more different. On the one hand, the "Anuga FoodTec" in Cologne. The leading international trade fair for the food and beverage industry covers all technical aspects of the food industry and rightly enjoys a global reputation. On the other hand, there is "all about automation" in Friedrichshafen. As a small regional trade fair, it is part of a whole series of events of the same name in various cities. In this respect, PFLITSCH was very keen to see what the respective conclusions would be regarding the two events.
Review of Anuga FoodTec 2024
Strong international attendance among exhibitors and visitors, lively business activity and networking: Anuga FoodTec 2024, which opened its doors in Cologne from 19-22 March 2024 and had "Responsibility" as its main theme, fulfilled the expectations of all participants in every respect. Around 1,350 exhibitors and 40,000 trade visitors from 150 countries used the platform to experience new products and trends up close.
For PFLITSCH, Anuga FoodTec 2024 was the ideal stage to celebrate the premiere of the new Cleanplus. As the world's first hygienic design cable gland, it has EHEDG certification in accordance with the new, stricter requirements. All the other exhibits, such as the Wire-tray Trunking, also benefited from the great interest it generated. In terms of hygienically safe cable routing, the system impresses with its outstanding hygiene-compliant and universal properties, which enable easy cleaning and high resistance to common cleaning agents. Corrosion therefore has no chance. Customers also benefit from time and cost-saving installation. Thanks to the strong response, the large number of in-depth technical discussions and the new contacts made, Anuga FoodTec more than fulfilled PFLITSCH's expectations.
Summary of "all about automation"
After "all about automation", which took place in Wetzlar at the end of last year, aaa Friedrichshafen was on PFLITSCH's trade fair programme in March 2024. As this is an entire series of trade fairs for industrial automation, it is of particular interest to PFLITSCH. At the aaa, the PFLITSCH trade fair team presented a selection of solutions specially designed to meet the requirements of automation. In addition to the new splittable cable gland CABseal, the focus was on the blueglobe TRI and the new UNI Dicht TRI as the EMC highlights of the bluegobe and UNI Dicht cable gland systems, which were also on show. Last but not least, the top solutions for sophisticated customised cable routing were not to be missed: the Industrial-Trunking and PIK-Trunking. The conclusion for the event at Lake Constance, which took place from 5 to 6 March 2024, was consistently positive: 5,018 visitors (2023: 4,180) ensured a lively interest in the mechanical engineering and automation solutions presented by 380 exhibitors (2023: 321). The PFLITSCH trade fair team can only agree to this positive assessment. In addition to the general interest and the number of contacts generated, the quality of the discussions with practical users was particularly emphasised.
Outlook: HANNOVER MESSE 2024
HANNOVER MESSE will once again be the highlight of our trade fair activities this year. From 22-26 April 2024, we will be presenting our trade fair highlights at stand D67 in hall 12 under the motto "easy and safe installation for automation".
In response to the increasing demands on EMC safety, the EMC solutions of our blueglobe and UNI Dicht cable gland systems, above all the blueglobe TRI and the new UNI Dicht TRI, will be in the spotlight at the HMI. Users benefit not only from effective shielding of electromagnetic interference signals, but also from efficient assembly. Following its premiere at Anuga FoodTec, the new Cleanplus hygiene cable gland will also be a highlight of our trade fair participation. And rightly so - after all, it is the world's first hygienic cable gland certified in accordance with the new, stricter EHEDG guidelines. And finally, we will have the splittable and modular CABseal cable entry system in our luggage. The ideal solution for the simple and efficient routing of up to 40 pre-assembled cables in enclosures.
